Annabel Rees - Manager and Lead Supervisor
Annabel has dedicated more than 25 years to supporting children, families and communities across the Education, Welfare and Child Safety sectors throughout the United Kingdom, New South Wales and Queensland. With extensive experience working alongside children and families navigating complex circumstances, she brings a calm, compassionate and child-focused approach to her work.
Annabel is highly experienced within the supervised contact sector and is recognised for her professional, child-focused approach when supporting families through complex circumstances. Her supervisory and management experience has provided her with strong knowledge in supervised contact practice, family support and service leadership.
In 2025, she established Brighter Futures Family Services, which continues to grow in response to increasing demand for professional supervised contact and family support services across Brisbane.
Annabel holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Psychology, combining professional knowledge with genuine empathy and practical experience.
Glen Rudman - Family Support Practitioner
Glen brings over 30 years of experience working with children, young people and families across New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia. With a strong background in education, wellbeing and student support, Glen has worked across a range of educational and community settings, developing a calm, practical and compassionate approach to supporting children and families through challenging circumstances.
Glen holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences and postgraduate qualifications in Education and brings knowledge in child development, communication, emotional wellbeing and family dynamics.
He continues to expand his professional skill set within the supervised contact and family support sector through ongoing professional development in trauma-informed practice, family law processes and child-focused risk assessment.
Glen’s experience complements the broader Brighter Futures team by bringing additional insight into education, behaviour support and child-focused engagement strategies.
